Are you ready for the 7th annual Rallycross Fest? This event is a true embodiment of why we set out to start NWRA - making RX available to all levels of driver, partnering with the best instructors to help drivers build their skills and bringing the community together for an incredible celebration of the sport we all love.
Rallycross Fest kicks off on Thursday, July 28th with the Advanced Rallycross Workshop followed by the Novice Rallycross Workshop on Friday, July 29th. Saturday and Sunday will be full days of racing on two separate courses. Competitors will race in one course on Saturday, July 30th followed by a second full day of racing on Sunday, July 31st.
Registration for this event is closed. If you weren’t able to sign up as a competitor, you can still join us as a spectator! Check out the spectator info section below.
Virtual Driver Meeting: If you are participating in any part of the event, please be sure to watch the Virtual Driver Meeting video. It is required for all drivers!
Car/Safety Requirements: All cars must meet safety requirements and pass technical inspection on race day. Check out the full Rallycross Rules for more info.
Spectator Info: Spectators are welcome and encouraged to join us on Saturday-Sunday, July 30-31 for the race weekend! There is no charge to enter – simply sign a waiver then come hang out. You will be directed to park in the upper lot of DirtFish then can walk down to the lower race area. Please follow any instructions or requests from staff, volunteers and other workers – their job is to keep you safe!
Note: No guests or spectators permitted during the workshops. This includes spouses, kids and co-drivers. Only registered drivers may attend the workshops.
We’ll have Northwest Rally swag by the course and on your way in or out, be sure to stop by the Dirtfish school building to check out their great collection of racing memorabilia and get your own Dirtfish gear!

Camping: No camping permitted at Dirtfish. Some great local campgrounds are Tolt MacDonald Park and Tall Chief Campground (again, reserve your spot early!)
Car storage: You may leave your car overnight at the venue between school and/or race days.
Early tech inspection: Save time and stress on race morning by getting through tech inspection and check in on Friday, July 29th. You can come to Dirtfish between 3-5:30pm, pass tech, get checked in and even leave your car so that you can show up and race on Saturday!

Rallycross Novice Workshop
Getting started in Rallycross is about more than just learning to race. In this class, we first introduce competitors the basics of the sport – rules, reading cones, working the course and preparation with Race Director, Kito Brielmaier. Then we move into car control and race technique with Dirtfish lead instructor, Nate Tennis. The first part of the day is spent in a classroom setting then we take what you have learned in class out onto the course. You will run through stations that are dissected course elements to give you the ability to practice with Dirtfish and MoDD instructor feedback. The day wraps up with a mini rallycross course where you can put all of the elements together. All in-car practice is in your own race vehicle.
Rallycross Advanced Workshop
Open to competitors who have raced in 5+ rallycross events, have taken our novice class or another Dirtfish course, this class is designed to teach you advanced car control techniques and how to put multiple elements/skills together on race. This class has a short in-class portion to discuss the techniques and elements that will be practiced. The in-car portion of the class will give drivers the chance to practice complex elements with Dirtfish and MoDD instructor feedback. The class size is limited so that we can provide a higher instructor to student ratio and make sure you get plenty of coaching with these advanced skills. The day wraps up with a mini rallycross course where you can put all of the elements together. All in-car practice is in your own race vehicle.
Workshop Schedules: If you are participating in the workshops, you can find the schedules in the 2022 Rallycross Fest Competitor Guide.
